Delivery Service We Use

An Post is Ireland’s national postal service provider — similar to USPS in the U.S. or Royal Mail in the UK. They offer a wide range of postal and financial-related services across Ireland, including Galway.

Domestic delivery (inside Galway / within Ireland)


  • Standard Post (regular letters/parcels): usually 1–2 working days to arrive after posting.

  • Express Post: next working day delivery if posted before the daily cut-off time.

  • Registered Post: generally 1–3 working days within Ireland.

“Working days” exclude weekends (Sunday) and public holidays. An Post sometimes delivers parcels on Saturday mornings in urban areas, but not letters on Sunday.
